How to put carbon in the soil, not in the air

Regenerative agriculture is one of the most promising solutions to the collective challenges we face – climate change, but also biodiversity loss and water scarcity. Yet if regenerative agriculture is the answer, how can we achieve deployment at scale?

UNISECO was also contributing to the discussion.

How to Put Carbon in the Soil, Not in the Air is a worldwide exchange scheduled just before World Soil Day on December 5th. Attendees will also have special access before the event to a screening of the documentary “Kiss the Ground.” The film, narrated by Woody Harrelson, speaks to the power of soil, and how it could be used to ultimately reverse climate change.

This event is the first in a series of events organized by Danone on regenerative agriculture. Danone has been investing in regenerative agriculture solutions for several years, and we believe in the need for strong partnerships between a broad range of stakeholders, from farmers to policymakers to corporate peers. These events aim to foster more collaboration and identify key solutions to achieve change at scale.
