The French EIP committee is a steering committee involving the State (diverse officers of the French ministry of Agriculture and Food) and representatives of regional governments. It aims to manage the French implementation of the European Innovation Partnership for Agricultural productivity and Sustainability (EIP-AGRI). Concerning UNISECO a number of interesting ideas were raised, such as the different European definitions of agroecology and the need to take this diversity into account in Uniseco. For example in France Agroecology refers to a law and differs from other definitions.
